What you will do

• Analyze data to identify fraud trends and provide impactful recommendations to drive business goals.
• Conduct detailed investigations into potential fraud activities at the account and transaction level.
• Research linked accounts and users to detect similar fraud risks and identify pattern deviations.
• Collaborate with data scientists and engineering to adjust detection models and operational rules.
• Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external risk inquiries, adjusting account settings per policy.
• Maintain risk metrics reporting and create data visualizations in coordination with the analytics team.

Requirements

• Experience in fraud/risk within the financial services industry, preferably in payments or remittances.
• Strong understanding of fraud concepts such as account-take-over, identity theft, and friendly fraud.
• Intermediate to Advanced SQL skills.
• Proven investigative capabilities and strong pattern recognition skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or GSuite, particularly Excel and Google Sheets.
• Fluent English communication skills.
