What you will do

• Analyze payment data to identify anomalies, drop-offs, and decline trends to investigate root causes.
• Lead key payment projects from conception to launch, collaborating with product, engineering, operations, and finance teams.
• Partner with Product Managers to define and prioritize features that increase payment conversion rates.
• Conduct detailed analysis of processing costs, including transaction fees, FX rates, and chargebacks.
• Create and maintain KPI dashboards to track payment success rates and cost per transaction.
• Design and analyze A/B tests to validate new features and optimize the payment flow.

Requirements

• Experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within fintech, e-commerce, or the payments sector.
• High proficiency in SQL/BigQuery and Google Sheets for extracting actionable insights.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills to communicate complex data to various audiences.
• Proven ability to drive initiatives from ideation to completion.
• Must be based in or able to work in Porto, Portugal (Hybrid)

Nice to have

• Knowledge of the payments ecosystem, including gateways, processors, card networks, and alternative payment methods.
