TL;DR

What you will do

  • Translate complex payment flows and SEPA domain requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Manage and prioritize the scrum backlog in alignment with the Product Owner to ensure the Definition of Ready (DoR) is met.
  • Create technical documentation including BRDs, FSDs, data models, and process diagrams.
  • Collaborate with security and privacy teams to embed PCI DSS, PSD2, and GDPR requirements into the product.
  • Lead stakeholder workshops and facilitate alignment sessions for formal sign-offs.
  • Define end-to-end test scenarios and support QA teams with acceptance criteria and defect triage.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Business Analysis experience in payments, fintech, or financial services.
  • Deep knowledge of SEPA payment ecosystems, settlement processes, and reconciliation.
  • Proven experience working in Agile settings (Scrum or Kanban).
  • Strong understanding of PCI DSS, PSD2, and GDPR regulatory standards.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Excel for data analysis.
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence for requirements management.

Nice to have

  • Exposure to API-first architectures and microservices.
  • Experience with API testing tools like Postman.
