What you will do

• Lead the identification of complex fraud patterns through proactive data analysis to anticipate emerging threats.
• Design and standardize strategic rules and automated frameworks scalable across different industries.
• Mentor junior and mid-level analysts, acting as a technical reference for the team.
• Collaborate with Data Science to refine machine learning models and optimize scoring thresholds.
• Manage KPIs for major industries, balancing fraud targets with conversion and revenue goals.
• Drive the adoption of AI capabilities, including LLMs and AI agents, to increase operational velocity.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
• 3-5+ years of experience in fraud prevention, risk management, or high-scale data roles.
• Advanced SQL proficiency is mandatory.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Must be based in Montevideo (Uruguay) or Argentina.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Python or similar data-oriented languages.
• Experience with AWS Athena, Sagemaker, or Quicksight.
