What you will do

• Review claims in real time to detect potential fraud and abuse cases.
• Analyze customer behavior and data to independently determine risk scores and recommend claim approvals or denials.
• Perform deep-dive fraud investigations to identify and report on emerging trends.
• Collaborate with Claims, Product, and Engineering to evaluate and improve in-house fraud detection models.
• Ensure all investigations strictly follow regulatory and departmental procedures.

Requirements

• 2+ years of direct Fraud/Abuse Operations experience, preferably in an eCommerce environment.
• Must be located within the continental United States.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong subject matter expertise in fraud prevention and investigative due diligence.
• Proficiency in Excel, Google Suite, and general office software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience working in retail or high-growth eCommerce startups.
• Familiarity with SQL and data software like Snowflake.
• Exposure to Project Management or CRM software such as JIRA or Untangl.
