Focus on building the organic social function from the ground up and optimizing discoverability in AI-generated search surfaces.

Location: Remote or Hybrid (New York, NY or Charlotte, NC). Must be based in the US and work Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours.

Total Cash Compensation: $175,000 – $250,000 per year + equity

What you will do

• Define and execute a unified organic growth roadmap across social, PR, SEO, AEO, and digital communications.
• Establish and scale the organic social function from the ground up, including platform strategy and brand voice.
• Lead earned media efforts to build brand authority and secure high-quality backlinks.
• Oversee SEO and AEO strategies to maintain search dominance and increase visibility in AI-generated answers.
• Develop a measurement framework to track organic traffic, share of voice, and downstream revenue impact.
• Manage and develop a high-performing team of organic growth specialists.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in organic/earned channels with 4+ years of team leadership.
• Proven track record of building organic social presence from scratch.
• Strategic ability to integrate social, PR, AEO, and SEO into a single ecosystem.
• Proficiency in the SEO and AEO landscape to manage specialists and set direction.
• AI-centric mindset with the ability to leverage AI for productivity and iteration.
• Ability to work Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours.
