TL;DR

Manager, Sales Compensation: developing strategic and systematic processes for timely and accurate delivery of compensation solutions to support Sales and Service with an accent on automation, incentive plan design, and system integrations. Focus on leading the analyst team, performing complex analyses, managing audits, and providing tools for compensation performance tracking.

Location: Remote (EST hours required, US-based)

Salary: $145,000-$165,000 + 15% STIP

What you will do

  • Manage, coach, and develop the Sales Compensation Analysts team, including performance management and training.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of sales systems, collaborate on improvements, and provide system solutions for Sales and Service.
  • Design, model, and implement commission and sales incentive plans in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Perform complex analysis of sales data and legal requirements for commission payments, manage audits, and handle escalations.
  • Develop tools, dashboards, and reports for compensation performance and integrate Canada plans with US systems.
  • Support global rollout of compensation tools and act as technical expert for new tools and audit methods.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Business Administration or equivalent.
  • 7+ years in Financial/Accounting/Sales Analyst roles and 5+ years in Financial/Sales Reporting.
  • Advanced Excel/Access skills and ability to interface data with software/applications.
  • Strong relational database management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to mentor, lead teams, solve problems, and meet urgent timelines.
  • Willingness to work EST hours.

Nice to have

  • Project Management and/or Leadership experience.
  • Compensation program knowledge/experience.
  • Knowledge of CaptivateIQ or related IC Tools.
