What you will do

• Establish relationships, negotiate, and develop carriers for expedite freight via phone and email.
• Ensure high service levels with on-time pickups and deliveries using safe, reliable carriers.
• Meet or exceed team financial and individual performance goals.
• Develop knowledge of carrier supply, demand, spot market pricing, and freight market factors.
• Manage carrier profiles, advocate for carriers, and match them to internal freight lanes.
• Secure capacity, monitor shipments, communicate with stakeholders, handle issues like rescheduling and detention.
• Onboard vendors, maintain TMS data, and oversee accounts receivable.

Requirements

• Minimum 1-2+ years professional experience in sales/cold calling or related.
• Track and trace experience in logistics environment.

Nice to have

• Experience in transportation/logistics.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
