What you will do

• Assemble and maintain prototype systems, sensors, audio routing, and embedded platforms to deliver reliable demos.
• Execute structured data capture for ML and evaluation, ensuring consistent protocols and metadata discipline.
• Perform repeatable acoustic measurement workflows, including calibration and environment control.
• Develop Python scripts and tools to automate measurement runs, post-processing, and reporting.
• Manage lab operations, equipment readiness, calibration records, and test fixtures.
• Collaborate with DSP, ML, and connectivity engineers to ensure correct experiment instrumentation.

Requirements

• BS in EE, ME, Acoustics, Physics, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience in an R&D lab, acoustic measurement environment, or prototype engineering.
• Hands-on experience with measurement equipment and calibration discipline.
• Proficiency in Python for automation and data processing.
• Strong documentation habits and ability to communicate technical results clearly.
• Must be able to complete a background investigation and drug screen.

Nice to have

• Experience with Audio Precision, SoundCheck, HATS rigs, and microphone calibration.
• Familiarity with embedded device workflows (flashing, logging, ADB, Linux/RTOS).
• Experience supporting ML dataset creation and labeling workflows.
• Knowledge of connectivity-related experiments (Bluetooth/Wi-Fi routing, latency).
