Salary: $108,000 - $172,800 annually

What you will do

• Design, model, simulate, document and communicate analog IP to internal customers, including specs and circuit models for package/PCB requirements.
• Characterize and debug analog designs for manufacturability, develop test plans, conduct testing, and collaborate with operations on QA.
• Support system and field applications engineers by answering customer questions.
• Participate in system-level architectural design of broadband communication SoCs and BU meetings to develop product solutions.
• Work collaboratively in a team, share expertise, resolve technical issues, meet deadlines, estimate tasks, and communicate progress.

Requirements

• Location: Must work onsite in Irvine, CA, USA
• BSEE with 8+ years, MSEE with 6+ years, or PhD with 3+ years of experience.
• Transistor-level analog circuit design skills; knowledge of CMOS devices, common topologies for 1 GHz+ circuits.
• Understanding of analog trade-offs (noise, distortion, frequency response, mismatch, bandwidth, stability).
• Knowledge of continuous/discrete-time signal processing in filters, ADCs, DACs, feedback loops.
• Experience with simulation tools, custom layout, lab equipment (oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer); physical layout of CMOS; system-level modeling (Matlab/VerilogA).
• Project management experience overseeing large analog blocks/systems with teams; strong verbal/written communication.
