Salary: $150,680 - $225,700 per annum

What you will do
- Design reference boards for PCIe Gen5/6 chips and create enterprise server reference systems.
- Set signal integrity (SI) specifications and implementation guidelines for internal and external teams.
- Implement power schemes, perform schematic capture, and coordinate with PCB layout houses.
- Conduct simulations to ensure high-quality board and package parameters.
- Participate in the bring-up and debugging of chips.
- Collaborate with customers to assist with their hardware designs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science (5-10 years exp) or Master's/PhD (3-5 years exp).
- Experience as a Lead Signal Integrity Engineer.
- Strong understanding of EM fundamentals, transmission lines, via structures, and BGA packages.
- Proficiency in 2D/3D EM tools (Sigrity Suite, Ansys EM) and HSPICE.
- Experience with 25Gbps SERDES and high-speed diff pair design (PCIE Gen4/5).
- Must be eligible to access export-controlled information as defined under U.S. export control laws (EAR).
Nice to have
- Working knowledge of ADS, QSI/QDC, or Hyperlynx.
- Experience setting up and running Power Integrity simulations.
- Experience interfacing with characterization teams to validate design calculations.
