Salary: $164,000 - $246,000

What you will do

• Lead system concept and architecture, requirements, and design for products within the CRM ecosystem.
• Drive technical integrity, integration, and risk mitigation across cross-functional partners.
• Implement MBSE practices to define design inputs, system design, and allocate functionality to subsystems.
• Develop and execute robust system verification and validation strategies, including alpha/beta testing and KPI definition.
• Mentor and coach systems engineers on engineering principles, MBSE, and CI/CD practices.
• Drive strategic initiatives to improve systems engineering processes and integrate digital engineering tools.

Requirements

• Must be based in or be able to work onsite in Mounds View, MN (4 days per week).
• Baccalaureate degree in engineering with 10+ years experience, Master's with 8+ years, or PhD with 6+ years.
• Expertise in MBSE and SysML across physical, logical, functional/behavioral, and data domains.
• Experience with modern software development practices, including CI/CD and distributed version control (Git, Azure Pipelines, Jenkins).
• Proven experience working in the medical device or another highly regulated industry.
• Ability to lead technical teams and communicate complex solutions to diverse stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with Digital Engineering and defining modeling patterns or UML Profiles.
• Proficiency with Sparx Enterprise Architect.
• Experience integrating MBSE models with simulation tools such as MathWorks, Ansys, or Esteco.
• Familiarity with Design for Six Sigma or similar product development processes.
