TL;DR

Customer Success Executive (Payors Healthcare): Ensure health plan clients achieve measurable outcomes through deployment of AI-driven solutions with an accent on payer workflows in prior authorization, case management, member services, and provider engagement. Focus on building trusted relationships, driving user adoption, and identifying opportunities for cost efficiency and improved member outcomes.

Location: Onsite role based in Minneapolis, MN, five days per week at the client site with occasional travel to Palo Alto, CA. Must satisfy client-specific credentialing requirements including drug screening and vaccinations.

What you will do

  • Serve as primary point of contact for payer organizations, building relationships with stakeholders in clinical operations, utilization management, care management, and executive leadership.
  • Lead onboarding and implementation of AI products aligned with payer workflows.
  • Drive user adoption through training and demonstrating real-world applications.
  • Identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency, member outcomes, and administrative throughput.
  • Manage client communications, address issues, gather feedback, and translate needs into product insights.
  • Define success metrics like turnaround time, staffing efficiency, and satisfaction.
  • Partner with internal teams on product performance, compliance, and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in industry forums to share AI best practices in payer operations.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years working with or within health plans (Medicare Advantage, Medicaid MCOs, Blues plans, national/regional payers).
  • Proven experience in customer success, account management, payer operations, or implementation roles.
  • Deep understanding of payer workflows across utilization management, care management, member services, and provider operations.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships from frontline managers to executives.
  • Cross-functional experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to meet client credentialing: drug screening, vaccinations/immunizations.

Nice to have

  • Experience with AI, automation, or SaaS in payer space.
  • Familiarity with prior auth workflows, delegated risk, value-based care, member engagement.
  • Knowledge of payer compliance (CMS, NCQA, HIPAA).
