TL;DR

Senior Director of Growth & Acquisition (Growth): Leading scalable user acquisition and product-led growth strategies for a family-focused consumer app with an accent on viral loops, LTV:CAC optimization, and full-funnel ownership. Focus on designing referral mechanisms, optimizing paid/organic channels, and integrating growth insights into the product roadmap.

Location: Remote (Must be based in CA, DE, GA, IL, MA, MI, NV, NY, OR, TX, WY, or VA)

Salary: $150,000 - $200,000 a year

What you will do

  • Define and own end-to-end user acquisition strategy across paid, organic, and product-led growth (PLG) channels.
  • Design and optimize referral programs, invite loops, and in-product sharing moments to build compounding growth flywheels.
  • Own accountability for marketing investment efficiency, focusing on LTV:CAC, forecasting, and resource allocation.
  • Lead a multi-disciplinary team and partner with Product and Engineering as the marketing principal within a cross-functional Growth Pod.
  • Oversee performance marketing budget and strategy (SEM, Paid Social) while maximizing SEO-driven and ASO organic growth.
  • Champion rapid A/B testing across acquisition channels and product surfaces to improve onboarding and referral conversion.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive growth experience in consumer subscription, with 4+ years in senior leadership managing Director-level reports.
  • Proven mastery across paid (SEM, Paid Social, Programmatic) and organic (SEO, Content, ASO) acquisition channels.
  • Hands-on experience designing and shipping referral programs and viral invite loops (fluency in k-factor and referral rates).
  • Expert proficiency in data analytics, BI tools, attribution modeling, and unit economics.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a Series B/C startup environment with a focus on execution and LTV:CAC.
  • Must be a full-time employee residing in one of the following US states: CA, DE, GA, IL, MA, MI, NV, NY, OR, TX, WY, or VA.
