TL;DR

Head of Customer Referral & Emerging Channels (Marketing): Scaling customer acquisition through word-of-mouth and new communication channels with an accent on referral program optimization and AI-driven advocate identification. Focus on building a scalable acquisition engine, running rigorous experimentation, and managing a high-performing growth marketing team.

Location: Hybrid (2-3 days/week in office). Must be based in Denver, San Francisco, New York, Las Vegas, Atlanta, Phoenix, Toronto, or Chicago.

Salary: $141,000 – $207,000 USD (depending on location) / CAD $133,000 – $166,000 for Toronto.

What you will do

  • Lead and develop the growth marketing team, setting goals and fostering a culture of innovation.
  • Own the strategy, incentive design, and optimization of the customer referral program to drive revenue.
  • Build and execute a rigorous experimentation roadmap using data analysis to scale growth levers.
  • Scout, pilot, and scale emerging acquisition channels to broaden the customer base.
  • Partner with Web Marketing to optimize landing pages and post-click conversion based on referral data.
  • Integrate AI tools into the daily workflow for research, copy generation, and program systematization.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in growth marketing, demand generation, or performance marketing.
  • 3+ years of experience in people management.
  • Proven track record of scaling referral, affiliate, or word-of-mouth programs from concept to growth.
  • Must be based in or able to work from designated office locations in the US or Canada.
  • Practical fluency in using AI tools to accelerate program design and analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in Salesforce, Amplitude, or similar platforms.
