What you will do

• Support day-to-day HR operations including policy updates, benefits administration, and HR system management.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders, advocate for team members, and foster positive employee relations.
• Promote compliance with employment standards and ensure fair application of HR policies.
• Resolve workplace issues through collaborative solutions.
• Build relationships on the production floor to gather feedback and support engagement.
• Drive continuous improvement via HR audits, system enhancements, and strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• Post-secondary education in Human Resources or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in HR with knowledge of practices and standards.
• Knowledge of Ontario Human Rights and Employment Standards Act (ESA) legislation.
• Strong facilitation, negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
