Employee Engagement Specialist

Employee Engagement Specialist: Managing employee relations matters such as conducting investigations, coaching managers and supervisors, policy interpretation, performance management, and legal compliance with an accent on employee effectiveness, satisfaction, and engagement events. Focus on serving as trusted HR advisor, measuring engagement levels, implementing actions, and ensuring policy education and compliance.

Location: Onsite – Salt Lake City, UT. Must live in the Salt Lake City area to work on-site. Able to travel as needed, at least once a quarter, for remote site support.

Salary: $90,000–$115,000 Annually

What you will do

• Serve as primary HR support for front-line leaders and employees on relations matters.
• Conduct investigations, coach managers on policy interpretation, performance issues, and conflicts.
• Measure employee engagement, recommend and implement actions using tools and resources.
• Educate on company policies, ensure compliance, and facilitate labor law requirements like EEOC.
• Coordinate HR programs, communications, and strategies to develop line manager capabilities.
• Support other sites and team members as needed while maintaining confidentiality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Over 5 years of progressive experience in employee relations, investigations, corrective actions, policy interpretation.
• Must live in the Salt Lake City area for onsite work.
• Able to travel quarterly for remote site support.
