TL;DR

Employee Relations Partner: Consult on complex employee relations issues including performance management, workplace conflicts, policy violations, and investigations with an accent on risk mitigation, fairness, consistency, and US employment law compliance. Focus on conducting internal investigations, recommending corrective actions, tracking cases, and delivering ER training to managers.

Location: Remote (US, deep knowledge of US employment laws required)

What you will do

  • Consult on complex employee relations issues like performance management, conflicts, and policy violations
  • Recommend and administer corrective action plans for performance concerns
  • Conduct internal investigations into allegations of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and violations partnering with Legal
  • Manage case documentation, track progress, metrics, and trends for process improvements
  • Drive ER cultural adoption through training and communication for managers and employees
  • Stay updated on employment law changes

Requirements

  • 7+ years in employee relations, HR generalist, HRBP, or labor/employment law
  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience/certifications (preferred)
  • Skilled in workplace investigations, negotiation, and conflict management
  • Deep understanding of US employment law, EEO, Title VII, ADA, FMLA, and state equivalents
  • Strong organizational, communication, and discretion skills
  • Ability to remain tactful in challenging situations

  • Previous experience in project management
