Sr Manager, Business Development - Data Centers (Energy Storage): Driving ’s growth across the Americas by originating, shaping, and closing high-value opportunities with an accent on strategic customer relationships and commercial lifecycle management. Focus on structuring transactions, quantifying customer value, and collaborating cross-functionally to craft compelling energy storage and digital solutions.
Location: Hybrid (2-3 days in office) in Alpharetta GA, Arlington VA, Houston TX, or Remote in CA, USA. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

What you will do
- Lead business development initiatives to expand market presence and drive adoption of energy storage and digital solutions.
- Own strategic customer relationships and guide them through the full commercial lifecycle.
- Shape deal strategy, structure transactions, and quantify customer value using modeling tools.
- Collaborate with Product, Sales Engineering, Market Applications, Delivery, and Marketing teams.
- Maintain pipeline management and forecasting using CRM platforms.
- Represent at conferences and monitor competitive, regulatory, and market dynamics.
Requirements
- 5-10 years of technical sales, commercial, or business development experience in energy, software, or related fields.
- Proven track record closing multi-million-dollar B2B or utility-scale transactions.
- Strong analytical capability, including value modeling and commercial structuring.
- Deep understanding of utilities, IPPs, developers, and/or enterprise energy customers.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and executive-level presentation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, economics, or related discipline.
Nice to have
- MBA or advanced degree.
- Experience with SaaS or digital optimization platforms.
- Knowledge of energy storage technologies, grid services, and market design.
- Ability to in without authority in a global matrix organization.
