What you will do

  • Manage accounts in North West England and surrounding areas, developing and retaining long-term customer relationships.
  • Prepare sales plans, demand forecasts, and monthly highlights; contribute to sales meetings.
  • Identify new business opportunities, prospect, gather market intelligence, and develop sales territory.
  • Visit customers, assess needs, recommend solutions, negotiate sales, and respond to inquiries.
  • Define customer needs through technical trials and tests at sites; provide onsite troubleshooting.
  • Coordinate technical support, follow up on samples, analyze ordering patterns, and share competitor info.

Requirements

  • Location: Based in North-West UK (approx. 1 hour from Liverpool)
  • Education in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or relevant field like Accounts Management.
  • Technical and commercial experience in tissue/paper manufacturing with strong account management skills.
  • Customer-centric approach, proactive, flexible, able to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Computer literacy: Microsoft Office, ERP (SAP), sales systems.

Nice to have

  • Experience in paper manufacturing sector or sales in paper-chemical sector.
