What you will do

• Own the end-to-end product strategy and roadmap for optical engines, including pluggable optics and coherent solutions.
• Define product positioning, value propositions, and lead make/buy/partner decisions for optical technologies.
• Translate requirements from Tier 1 and Tier 2 service providers, MSOs, and enterprises into detailed product definitions.
• Manage business cases, pricing strategies, margin targets, and P&L for the optical engine portfolio.
• Lead the full product lifecycle from initial concept and development through launch and end-of-life.
• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing product line management team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related technical field.
• 10+ years of experience in optical networking technology.
• At least 5 years of experience in product management or product line leadership.
• Deep technical understanding of coherent optics (ZR/ZR+), pluggable form factors, and DWDM systems.
• Proven experience owning a product P&L or equivalent business responsibility.
• Strong executive-level communication skills and ability to lead in a matrix organization.

Nice to have

• MBA degree.
• Experience with open networking, disaggregated optical systems, or software-defined networking (SDN).
• Leadership experience in semiconductor-adjacent or optics component businesses.
• Familiarity with service-provider purchasing models and global contract manufacturers.
