TL;DR
Business Development Associate: Developing sales opportunities through cold-calling and outreach tactics to book qualified sales meetings with an accent on prospect research, pitching, and qualification. Focus on maintaining daily call volumes, CRM documentation, and forecasting deal progression.
Location: Toronto office, initially 5 days/week at 155 University Ave; hybrid remote (WFH Mon/Fri) after achieving goals for 2 consecutive months. Must be based in Toronto, ON, Canada.
Salary: 60K CAD base + 30K CAD commission target (OTE 90K CAD, up to 150K CAD for overachievers).

What you will do
- Develop sales opportunities via cold-calling and outreach to turn prospects into qualified leads.
- Maintain daily call volumes and document leads/appointments in Salesforce CRM.
- Research contacts, prepare pitches, and book meetings that hold with sales executives and account managers.
- Forecast and track meeting outcomes turning into deals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, or related field.
- 1+ years in lead generation, sales, marketing, cold-calling, or outreach (B2B tech sales preferred).
- Strong verbal/written communication, tenacity, resilience, and go-getter attitude.
- Ability to work individually and in a team, with competitive spirit to exceed quotas.
- Location: Toronto, ON, Canada (office-based with hybrid potential).
