TL;DR

Sales Development Representative (SaaS): Generating and qualifying new business opportunities for AI-powered marketing solutions with an accent on pipeline development and territory execution. Focus on identifying strategic accounts, running discovery calls, and closing transactional business to accelerate growth.

Location: Hybrid: Ability to work 100% remotely, but future in-office time in Vancouver or Toronto is required

Salary: $50,000 – $60,000 CAD base plus bonuses/commission

What you will do

  • Collaborate with Account Executives to develop and execute go-to-market strategies for assigned territories.
  • Blueprint key accounts, perform outreach, and set up discovery calls and demos.
  • Conduct discovery calls and drive deals through various phases of the sales pipeline.
  • Identify expansion opportunities within the most strategic and largest customers.
  • Manage and close transactional business for the AE team.
  • Support in-territory events and gifting programs, including pre- and post-conference outreach.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of hitting and exceeding sales goals.
  • Excellent communication skills for phone and written pipeline development.
  • Experience utilizing Salesforce.com.
  • Ability to communicate the business impact of portfolio solutions to both technical and business customers.
  • Must be able to meet future in-office requirements in Toronto or Vancouver.
  • Self-starter mentality with strong time management and intrinsic motivation.

Nice to have

  • 1 year of experience executing prospecting and pipeline generation for SaaS solutions (mid-market to enterprise).
  • Experience supporting enterprise field teams in a multi-product SaaS environment.
