Resident Inspector (UT Level II)

Salary: $40.00 - $50.00 Hourly

What you will do

• Lead the daily UT program and schedule requirements at the customer facility.
• Perform thickness testing and review UT data to ensure the accuracy of the program database.
• Maintain and update UT maps and documentation for piping, tanks, and vessels.
• Coordinate with offsite specialist resources and RT crews for thickness monitoring.
• Train owner and contractor employees to support NDT work.
• Conduct UTSW weld inspections for new piping fabrication.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of UT experience (UT Level II preferred).
• Must be a "U.S. Person" (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) to comply with ITAR export controls.
• Certification for confined space entry and mobile platforms (e.g., boom lifts).
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with Mechanical Integrity computer databases.
• Ability to work at heights and enter small, confined spaces.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass a drug screen.

Nice to have

• Additional certifications in PT/MT.
• Experience with PSAim database.
• API 570 certification or interest in obtaining it (company-sponsored).
• Experience leading small teams as a lead technician.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD.
