What you will do

• Conduct detailed dimensional and visual inspections of critical parts and assemblies across First Article, in-process, incoming material, and final inspection.
• Read and interpret complex engineering drawings, model-based definitions, specifications, tolerances, and work documentation.
• Select and use appropriate measuring devices for inspection applications.
• Complete First Article Inspection Reports in accordance with AS9102.
• Research planning, work orders, purchase orders, engineering documentation, and specifications to resolve inspection requirements.
• Document findings and accept or reject products while communicating issues with relevant teams.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least two years of quality assurance or inspection experience; aerospace or aviation experience is preferred.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Forms.
• Strong reading, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience interpreting work instructions, procedures, contracts, drawings, and specifications.
• Eligible candidates must be U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, lawful permanent residents, certain temporary residents, refugees, or individuals granted asylum.

Nice to have

• Experience with source inspection activities.
• Experience in the aerospace or aviation industry.
