Installation Technician 1

Location: USA-MN-Arden Hills; field-based work with occasional domestic overnight travel under 20% annually

Salary: $25.70–$35.30 per hour, based on a 40-hour work week; scheduled hours may vary according to business needs.

What you will do

• Inspect, install, repair, and maintain customer equipment in the field.
• Perform service work individually or in small teams while meeting customer requirements.
• Operate service vehicles, truck-based cranes, forklifts, welders, torches, and power and hand tools.
• Complete service tickets, timesheets, job tracking forms, and safety analysis documents using handheld devices or paper forms.
• Follow customer-specific requirements, company policies, DOT standards, and site safety procedures.
• As skills develop, support and train less-experienced Service Technicians on complex field problems and installation procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• One to five years of experience repairing and servicing hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical equipment.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass a DOT medical examination.
• Ability to read safety rules, blueprints, schematics, operating instructions, maintenance documents, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports, communicate effectively with customers and employees, and apply practical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in the Arden Hills, Minnesota area and perform field service duties.
