Workday Configuration Architect (ERP): Lead the design, configuration, and optimization of Workday platform across HR modules with an accent on global workstreams like onboarding, leave processes, and relocation. Location: Fully remote or hybrid (~3 days/week) if local to Buffalo, NY area; must live local to Buffalo, NY to work onsite
Salary: $130,000–$180,000 Annually (Buffalo, NY)

What you will do
- Maintain and define configuration standards and documentation across Workday modules.
- Architect end-to-end Workday configurations for core HR modules and global deployments.
- Lead complex configuration initiatives, enhancements, and testing strategies.
- Mentor Workday Analysts and Administrators while providing knowledge transfer.
- Evaluate and recommend improvements to configurations, processes, and data integrity.
- Collaborate with integrations, security, and business teams on business processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration, or related field
- 7+ years advanced Workday configuration experience
- Proven leadership in complex global Workday initiatives across multiple workstreams
- Strong understanding of Workday security model and impacts on business processes
- Advanced Workday report writing and interaction with IT/integrations teams
- Must live local to Buffalo, NY area for onsite work
Nice to have
- 7+ years Workday experience across multiple HR modules
- Workday Pro or Certifications
- Experience with Workday release process
- Global support in 10,000+ employee organization
- Manufacturing industry experience
- Mentoring or leading Workday teams
