TL;DR

Vice President of Sales (Insurtech): Lead and expand the sales team, engaging with P&C carriers to align Duck Creek’s SaaS solutions with customer business drivers with an accent on building pipelines, delivering presentations, and achieving quota targets. Focus on implementing sales strategies, forecasting bookings, and applying consultative Challenger-based selling to secure new accounts and drive revenue growth.

Location: Remote in Canada or United States; preferred Boston, Chicago, New York, or near large metro area

Salary: $175,000–$225,000 CAD + commissions

What you will do

  • Provide leadership to sales staff, set team direction, and ensure clear priorities
  • Build relationships with key influencers and develop insights into account strategies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and deliver compelling customer presentations
  • Develop and maintain sales pipeline, implement sales strategy and methodology
  • Forecast bookings accurately, achieve targets, and deploy strategies for new accounts
  • Apply consultative and Challenger-based sales skills to manage sales cycles

Requirements

  • 10+ years successful sales experience, preferably in insurance software/Insurtech, Reinsurance, Loss Control, or Distribution Management
  • 10+ years management experience
  • Background in SaaS licensing & sales, exceeding targets, and proven sales methodologies
  • Ability to prospect territories, build executive relationships, and understand complex client strategies
  • Bachelor’s Degree required; willingness to travel 30-50%
  • High business acumen, communication skills, and knowledge of web/cloud technologies
