TL;DR

Manager, US Benefits: Shaping, optimizing, and delivering U.S. Health & Welfare programs aligned with business objectives, workforce needs, and market competitiveness with an accent on strategy, financial management, vendor relations, and compliance. Focus on annual planning, regulatory oversight, data-driven recommendations, and operational execution through cross-functional partnerships.

Location: Hybrid model in one of hirify.global's US offices. Willing to travel up to 30%, domestic only.

What you will do

  • Partner on benefits strategy, design, annual planning, renewal, and Open Enrollment, including financial modeling and benchmarking.
  • Oversee administration of Health & Welfare programs, COBRA, HIPAA, ACA, and voluntary plans.
  • Manage budgets, reporting, cost analysis, ROI, and partnerships with Payroll and Finance.
  • Lead vendor relationships, performance monitoring, appeals, and process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations, serve as HIPAA Administrator, and handle M&A activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • 6-8+ years in benefits strategy, design, administration, vendor management, and financial management.
  • Proven experience leading third-party vendors.
  • Strong knowledge of ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, and state/local regulations.
  • Experience with self-funded plans, benefits platforms, policy development, and leading a small team.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills for fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

  • CBP or CEBS certification.
  • Experience with Workday, ServiceNow, Businessolver.
  • Writing policies and business processes.
