Project Manager (Audio/Mixer)

Salary: $108,750 - $159,500

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end program management from initiation through sustaining, defining milestones and assessing risks.
• Build and manage detailed program schedules using MS Project, including WBS development and critical path analysis.
• Facilitate collaboration across engineering, supply chain, operations, and marketing to accelerate decision-making.
• Coordinate development activities across hardware, firmware, software, and manufacturing to resolve dependencies.
• Provide transparent communication to leadership through KPI reporting and risk mitigation plans.
• Manage program budgets for prototypes and external services while tracking financial performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of project management experience supporting engineering teams, ideally in acoustic or technical product environments.
• Hands-on experience with MS Project, Jira, and Confluence.
• Deep knowledge of the full new product development lifecycle and engineering concepts.
• Must be willing to work in a hirify.global office in Richardson, TX.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally (less than 10% of total hours per year).

Nice to have

• Degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) or Mechanical Engineering (ME).
• Professional Project Management certification (e.g., PMP).
• Experience working with acoustic products.
• Understanding of PCBA fabrication, readiness, and component lead time management.
• Experience with PLM BOM creation and engineering change control.
