Project Manager (Audio / Mixer)

Location: Richardson, Texas, USA; willingness to work in the hirify.global office in Richardson, TX is required. Occasional domestic and international travel is required, at less than 10% of annual working time.

Salary: $108,750–$159,500 per year, with other compensation potentially available depending on the position.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end programs for professional audio products from initiation through sustaining and production launch.
• Build and manage schedules in MS Project, including work breakdown structures, resource allocation, and critical path analysis.
• Coordinate engineering, supply chain, operations, manufacturing, product management, and marketing to resolve dependencies and accelerate decisions.
• Identify and mitigate risks, manage conflicts, and communicate KPIs, risks, changes, and mitigation plans to leadership.
• Coordinate hardware, firmware, software, operations, and manufacturing activities while maintaining configuration and document control.
• Manage budgets for prototypes, samples, and external services and track financial performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of project management experience supporting engineering teams, preferably in acoustic or technical product environments within a global company.
• Hands-on experience with MS Project, Jira, and Confluence.
• Strong understanding of engineering practices and the full new product development lifecycle.
• Analytical decision-making, structured problem-solving, communication, presentation, and multitasking skills.
• Successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen is required as a condition of employment.

Nice to have

• Engineering degree, preferably in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Professional Project Management certification such as PMP.
• Experience with acoustic products, PCBA fabrication, component lead-time management, PLM BOMs, and engineering change control.
