Litigation Paralegal

TL;DR

Litigation Paralegal (Family Law): Supporting attorneys with discovery preparation, litigation tasks, and case management for sensitive family law cases with an accent on document organization, deadline tracking, and compliance. Focus on drafting responses, managing filings, motions, subpoenas, and ensuring efficient case progression.

Location: Fully Remote (Preferred: Latin America, 9am-5pm EST, US Federal Holidays)

Salary: USD 1,200 - 1,500 per month

What you will do

• Assist with discovery preparation and responses, including drafting, organizing, and reviewing documents.
• Support litigation tasks such as pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and court filings.
• Use My Case software for document management and case tracking.
• Manage and organize case files securely via Dropbox or similar systems.
• Communicate with attorneys, opposing counsel, court staff, and clients.
• Track deadlines and ensure timely completion of tasks while maintaining confidentiality.

Requirements

• 2+ years experience as Paralegal with U.S. law firms.
• Experience in discovery and litigation.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

• Experience in a family law firm.
