What you will do

• Assist attorneys with propounding and responding to discovery, including interrogatories, requests for admissions, and production.
• Manage full-cycle trial preparation, including coordinating witnesses, travel, exhibits, and trial notebooks.
• Independently obtain, review, and organize medical records and calculate damages.
• Prepare deposition and hearing binders, including supporting documents and exhibits.
• Maintain routine communications with clients, experts, and attorneys regarding case status.

Requirements

• Paralegal certification.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal.
• Solid understanding of state and federal civil litigation deadlines and rules.
• High proficiency in MS Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat.
• Must be based in or able to work in San Diego, CA.
