What you will do

• Map current and future-state laboratory processes, including roles, handoffs, and decision points.
• Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and pain points; propose and implement process improvements.
• Partner with lab managers, scientists, QA, and SMEs to drive consistent execution and organizational design.
• Facilitate change management through communication, training, and documentation.
• Design KPIs, monitor performance, identify risks, and enable data-driven decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5+ years hands-on laboratory experience in clinical, research, or biomarker labs.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end sample lifecycle processes from receipt to reporting.
• Experience in process mapping, workflow analysis, or operational improvement.
• Familiarity with regulated lab environments (GxP, CAP/CLIA, ISO).

Nice to have

• Background in Operational Excellence, Lean/Six Sigma, or continuous improvement.
• Six Sigma certifications.
• Experience developing SOPs, work instructions, or training content.
