Start Up Lead APAC

Location: Remote in Australia, China, Singapore, South Korea, or Taiwan

What you will do

• Manage site start-up processes and develop activation readiness strategies for study, country, and site delivery.
• Coordinate critical path planning covering IRB/EC and CA/MoH strategies, ICF customization, risk mitigation, IMP release requirements, contracts, and budgets.
• Collaborate with clients, Functional Leaders, Site Start-Up Specialists, Clinical Operations, Project Management, Regulatory, Feasibility, and Site Contracts teams.
• Monitor tracking systems and milestone metrics to ensure accurate, real-time oversight of start-up progress.
• Coordinate document translations and support country-level start-up activities, process flows, and country start-up summaries.
• Act as a subject matter expert, trainer, and mentor on local start-up regulations, submissions, procedures, and tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or a related field, Registered Nurse qualification, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in site start-up, ideally as a Site Start-Up Lead or Project Manager in a CRO, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology company.
• At least 2 years of experience managing project milestones, resources, budgets, and team activities.
• Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional activities, with excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with computerized information systems, spreadsheets, word processing, email, and milestone tracking tools.
• Fluent English and, for non-English-speaking countries, fluency in the local language of the country where the position is based.
