What you will do

• Optimize supplier compositions and processes to reduce costs and drive technology development through in-house expertise.
• Evaluate new suppliers and commonize specifications across sources to ensure interchangeability and quality.
• Lead magnet material and manufacturing process engineering activities for new product development and R&D projects.
• Develop common work practices, procedures, and design standards in collaboration with manufacturing and procurement teams.
• Define and verify magnet selection and application to meet design performance and reliability requirements.
• Stay updated on world-class best practices in magnet application, analysis, and manufacturing techniques.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Material Science.
• 10+ years of overall work experience in the magnet industry.
• Deep knowledge of magnet chemical composition and processing.
• Proficiency in various material analysis methodologies.
• Willingness to travel up to 15%, both domestic and international.
• Must be willing to work in the R&D Center in Novi, US.

• Background and experience in automotive speakers.
• Working knowledge of OEM customers’ expectations and requirements.
• Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to issue resolution.
