Director of Workforce Strategy and Skills (HR): Leading enterprise-wide workforce transformation toward skills-based models and operating practices with an accent on AI-driven platforms, analytics, and agile talent deployment. Focus on designing career architectures, opportunity marketplaces, and inclusive reskilling programs to enable business agility and innovation.
Location: Hybrid in Garching (Bavaria, Germany), Bucharest (Romania), Budapest (Hungary), or Karlsbad (Baden-Württemberg, Germany). Willing to travel up to 10% domestic and international.

What you will do
- Partner with leaders to develop workforce strategies using analytics, insights, and labor market data for future-ready outcomes.
- Co-lead cross-functional transformation initiatives including operating model design, reskilling, and location strategy.
- Embed AI, digital platforms, and experimentation into skills intelligence and strategic workforce planning.
- Design enterprise career architecture, skills frameworks, and internal Opportunity Marketplace for talent mobility.
- Scale AI-enabled talent platforms and govern assessments ensuring legal defensibility and inclusivity.
- Manage transformation portfolios with agile methods and deliver executive insights.
Requirements
- 10+ years in skills intelligence, strategic workforce planning, or HR transformation in global organizations.
- Expertise in career architecture, skills-based design, and workforce planning with analytics and predictive modeling.
- Hands-on experience with AI-enabled talent solutions and advanced analytics.
- Strong partnerships across HR functions, business, finance, and technology.
- Experience in talent assessments with validity, adverse impact, and legal knowledge.
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s (MBA or related) preferred.
