TL;DR

Regional Tier 2 People Capability Centre Team Leader (HR Operations): Overseeing complex employee lifecycle service delivery across the EMEA region with an accent on escalated case management, compliance, and country-specific HR processes. Focus on leading Tier 2 specialists, ensuring process governance, technology integration, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Location: Work in our EMEA Hub office (Germany: Garching, Karlsbad; Hungary: Pécs, Székesfehérvár; Romania: Bucharest). Willing to travel up to 20% internationally.

What you will do

  • Lead Tier 2 delivery for complex employee lifecycle activities, escalated cases, and service lines like benefits operations, onboarding, offboarding, compliance, data management, and reporting.
  • Establish service standards, oversee investigations, ensure compliance, audit readiness, and risk mitigation across country-specific policies.
  • Manage Workday and ServiceNow processes, refine workflows, escalations, and leverage automation/AI for efficiency.
  • Act as escalation point for Tier 1, COEs, HRBPs; collaborate on handoffs, policy refinement, and knowledge sharing.
  • Define and track SLAs, KPIs, quality metrics; lead continuous improvement to enhance service quality and operational maturity.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop Tier 2 specialists and SMEs to build expertise and foster accountability.

Requirements

  • Strong expertise in complex employee lifecycle processes, compliance, and country-specific HR policies.
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms like Workday and ServiceNow; handling escalations, investigations, policy interpretation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Management or related; 8–10 years in HR operations/shared services with Tier 2/SME exposure.
  • Experience with multi-country/regional teams; strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Proven leadership managing specialists/SMEs in service delivery.
  • Work in EMEA Hub office; up to 20% international travel.

Nice to have

  • Experience implementing/enhancing ServiceNow workflows or scaling Tier 2 teams.
  • Continuous Improvement certifications (Six Sigma, LEAN).
  • Exposure to Works Council or regulatory consultation processes.
