What you will do

• Lead design, development, testing, and operation of reliable, scalable, secure cloud-native systems on AWS.
• Own end-to-end architecture for services, balancing serverless, containers, data stores, and integrations.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver complex technical designs and implementations.
• Drive code quality, reviews, and best practices while investigating production issues and bottlenecks.
• Evolve CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies, and observability for improved productivity and resilience.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and contribute to technical roadmaps.

Requirements

• 5+ years software development experience with hands-on AWS production systems.
• Strong proficiency in Python, object-oriented design, and clean code principles.
• Expertise in AWS services: Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, SQS/SNS, EventBridge, CloudWatch, etc.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK) and DevOps practices (CI/CD, Docker).
• RESTful API design, authentication (OAuth2, JWT), microservices, event-driven architectures.
• Data modeling for NoSQL and relational databases; software testing strategies.
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript and front-end frameworks (React, Angular).
