What you will do

• Implement strategies, policies, workflows, systems, and processes.
• Contribute to Springer Journals division via cross-departmental projects and task forces.

Requirements

• Excellent English language skills
• Demonstrable experience leading a team in scientific/academic publishing
• Excellent management, communication, leadership, and team-building skills
• Proven experience translating market opportunities into profitable business models
• Thorough understanding of research/scientific process in publishing and needs of editors, authors, referees
• Strong analytical and commercial skills
• Educated to degree level or equivalent, preferably in relevant field
