TL;DR

Senior Manager, Market Data (Finance): Managing the strategic provision and administration of market data for the Corporate & Institutional Bank with an accent on vendor relationships, budget optimization, and licensing. Location: Hybrid in London (minimum 2 days per week in office)

What you will do

  • Lead a team of specialists in the strategic management, provision, and administration of Market Data.
  • Engage with senior leaders to support strategic decision-making and collaborate directly with external vendors like Bloomberg and LSEG.
  • Oversee the end-to-end management of market data across a portfolio of initiatives and projects.
  • Implement and adapt a sustainable, cost-effective target operating model to meet evolving business needs.
  • Manage large annual budgets, conduct commercial negotiations, and drive cost-reduction activities.
  • Maintain awareness of and apply industry and regulatory developments regarding data governance and third-party oversight.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in market data usage, sourcing, licensing, governance, and vendor management.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing teams and delivering outcomes across multiple priorities.
  • 5+ years of experience partnering with senior leaders and managing third-party risks (cyber, operational resilience).
  • Experience designing or improving operating models for data or shared services teams.
  • Strong working knowledge of regulatory expectations within financial services or similarly regulated sectors.
  • Must be based in London for hybrid office attendance.
