What you will do
- Lead a team of specialists in the strategic management, provision, and administration of Market Data.
- Engage with senior leaders to support strategic decision-making and collaborate directly with external vendors like Bloomberg and LSEG.
- Oversee the end-to-end management of market data across a portfolio of initiatives and projects.
- Implement and adapt a sustainable, cost-effective target operating model to meet evolving business needs.
- Manage large annual budgets, conduct commercial negotiations, and drive cost-reduction activities.
- Maintain awareness of and apply industry and regulatory developments regarding data governance and third-party oversight.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in market data usage, sourcing, licensing, governance, and vendor management.
- 5+ years of leadership experience managing teams and delivering outcomes across multiple priorities.
- 5+ years of experience partnering with senior leaders and managing third-party risks (cyber, operational resilience).
- Experience designing or improving operating models for data or shared services teams.
- Strong working knowledge of regulatory expectations within financial services or similarly regulated sectors.
- Must be based in London for hybrid office attendance.
