What Youβll Do
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and delivery using Python, SQL, Spark, APIs, and cloud-native tools.
- Develop analytics and data models in Snowflake using dbt, focusing on performance, correctness, and maintainability.
- Apply software engineering practices including modular design, testing, code reviews, and version control to data systems.
- Implement automation, monitoring, and observability for reliable production data pipelines.
- Collaborate with product managers, analytics engineers, data scientists, and application engineers to deliver data products driving business outcomes.
- Build feature pipelines and data foundations supporting classical ML models and AI workloads.
- Contribute to shared standards, patterns, and best practices across the data engineering organization.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in STEM or equivalent experience.
- 5β8+ years as data engineer or senior software engineer on data-intensive systems.
- Strong SQL and data modeling on large-scale platforms (Snowflake preferred).
- Experience building production data pipelines with Python and cloud services.
- Proficiency with dbt or similar tools.
- Solid software engineering fundamentals: system design, debugging, optimization.
- Git/GitHub workflows, CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions preferred).
- Hands-on AWS experience (S3, IAM, EC2/ECS/EKS, Lambda, Glue, EMR).

- Workflow orchestration (Dagster, Airflow).
- Streaming/event-driven systems (Kafka, Flink, Kinesis).
- ML/AI workflow support or model integration.
- Masterβs in STEM.
