What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and delivery using Python, SQL, Spark, APIs, and cloud-native tools.
• Develop analytics and data models in Snowflake using dbt, focusing on performance, correctness, and maintainability.
• Apply software engineering practices including modular design, testing, code reviews, and version control to data systems.
• Implement automation, monitoring, and observability for reliable production data pipelines.
• Collaborate with product managers, analytics engineers, data scientists, and application engineers to deliver data products driving business outcomes.
• Build feature pipelines and data foundations supporting classical ML models and AI workloads.
• Contribute to shared standards, patterns, and best practices across the data engineering organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or equivalent experience.
• 5–8+ years as data engineer or senior software engineer on data-intensive systems.
• Strong SQL and data modeling on large-scale platforms (Snowflake preferred).
• Experience building production data pipelines with Python and cloud services.
• Proficiency with dbt or similar tools.
• Solid software engineering fundamentals: system design, debugging, optimization.
• Git/GitHub workflows, CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions preferred).
• Hands-on AWS experience (S3, IAM, EC2/ECS/EKS, Lambda, Glue, EMR).

• Workflow orchestration (Dagster, Airflow).
• Streaming/event-driven systems (Kafka, Flink, Kinesis).
• ML/AI workflow support or model integration.
• Master’s in STEM.
