Associate Start Up Lead

TL;DR

Associate Start Up Lead (Clinical): Driving country and/or regional site start-up activities in clinical trials with an accent on execution of site start-up strategy, planning, document collection, approvals, and coordination. Focus on developing critical path planning, risk mitigations, stakeholder collaboration, and ensuring timely site activation and IMP release.

What you will do

• Manage site start-up process through activation readiness strategy and oversight of delivery.
• Develop and present critical path planning including IRB/EC, CA/MoH strategy, ICF customization, risk mitigations, IMP release, and contract execution.
• Collaborate with stakeholders for milestone planning, alignment, and timely site activation.
• Participate in client meetings to set expectations for delivery, communication, risk mitigation, and metrics.
• Partner with functional leaders and specialists to identify risks, execute mitigations, and maintain tracking systems.
• Coordinate translations, maintain communication with key functions, and act as SME for site-level critical paths.

Requirements

• Fluency in English and local language of the country where position based (Serbia, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia or Poland)
• Bachelor's degree in life sciences or related field, or RN, or equivalent.
• 3+ years in start-up, ideally SU Lead or PM in CRO or pharma/biotech.
• 1+ year in project milestone management, resources, budgets, team coordination.
• 1+ year presenting to clients; demonstrated leadership in cross-functional activities.
• Excellent communication, organizational skills; experience with milestone tracking tools/systems.
