Business Data Analyst (Government)

TL;DR

Business Data Analyst (BI/Government): Providing data analytics support for government customers with an accent on data extraction, cleansing, and visualization. Focus on developing dashboards in Power BI/Qlik and translating complex business needs into technical reports.

Location: Dayton, OH (Wright Patterson Air Force Base). U.S. citizenship is required

Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per year

What you will do

• Gather business requirements and define data sources, transformation requirements, and data models for analysis.
• Acquire and analyze enterprise metrics to incorporate them into data visualizations and dashboards.
• Collaborate with project teams to elicit and prioritize business intelligence requirements.
• Develop deliverable solutions using BI tools, serving as a technical subject matter expert.
• Document data acquisition, management, and governance processes.
• Create training materials and conduct training sessions for end users.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required; H1-B visas and other visas are not sponsored
• Minimum 5 years of experience in government acquisition, finance, or program management within a Department of Defense (DoD) organization.
• Bachelor's degree in business management, engineering, computer science, mathematics, accounting, or economics (or 7+ years of relevant experience).
• Ability to pass a Federal background investigation for access to classified information
• Experience using BI tools such as Power BI, Qlik Sense, or Qlik View is highly preferred.
