Medical Writer, Medical Communications (Medical)

Location: Remote, United States

Salary: $80,000–$110,000 USD per year, plus a discretionary annual bonus.

What you will do

• Generate content outlines with clear story arcs and complete reference lists.
• Develop client-ready slide decks, executive summaries, comprehensive summaries, and meeting materials.
• Organize and annotate references according to client instructions or house style.
• Conduct literature searches using appropriate strategies, keywords, journals, and medical research sources.
• Collaborate with medical, legal, and regulatory reviewers, answer review queries, and implement required changes.

Requirements

• Advanced science degree such as PharmD, MD, or PhD.
• 0–3 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of multiple therapeutic areas, regulatory and scientific guidelines, and key statistical concepts.
• Excellent scientific writing, data interpretation, content review, and reference-management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and reference-management software such as EndNote.
