Location: United States; hybrid work schedule, with the role also marked as remote

Salary: $85,000–$100,000 per year, depending on qualifications; eligible for an annual bonus program or commission incentive based on the role

What you will do

• Create accurate, engaging, and compliant scientific and medical content for print, digital, and live formats.
• Review and synthesize clinical trial results, research studies, and other scientific materials for different audiences.
• Collaborate with scientific directors, editors, designers, subject matter experts, and key opinion leaders to develop and validate content.
• Apply AMA/AP style, brand guidelines, fair balance, disclosure requirements, and relevant industry regulations.
• Support webinars, podcasts, infographics, interactive learning tools, proposals, and business development materials.
• Edit and proofread content, perform quality checks, and monitor developments in relevant therapeutic areas.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in medical writing, scientific communication, or related editorial work.
• Experience writing for healthcare professionals, patients, or industry audiences.
• Advanced degree such as PhD, PharmD, MD, or equivalent in a life science or medical discipline preferred; a related bachelor's degree with relevant experience may be considered.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to make complex scientific topics accessible.
• Ability to synthesize and interpret scientific data accurately, with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with AMA style and medical terminology; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
