What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and performance-manage a team of systems and development engineers.
• Own the system V-model, system specification, and requirements traceability from RFQ through SOP.
• Govern sensor product architecture, ensuring alignment with performance, safety, cost, and manufacturability.
• Oversee functional safety activities, including the creation of safety concepts and analyses (FTA, FMEDA, CCA) per ISO 26262.
• Act as the primary engineering interface for customers regarding systems architecture and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with HW, SW, Mechanical, and Manufacturing teams to ensure architectural decisions are implemented across the product life cycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering.
• 8–12+ years of systems engineering experience.
• 3–6+ years of engineering leadership experience.
• Strong cross-domain understanding of HW, SW, mechanical design, and system architecture.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) for collaboration with global teams.
• Proficiency in ISO 26262, DFMEA, and requirements management.

Nice to have

• Experience in automotive sensing (Position, Speed, Steering).
• Proficiency with tools such as Polarion, APIS IQ RM, or standard SE toolchains.
• Experience in prototype validation (DVP/PVP).
