What you will do
- Lead, mentor, and performance-manage a team of systems and development engineers.
- Own the system V-model, system specification, and requirements traceability from RFQ through SOP.
- Govern sensor product architecture, ensuring alignment with performance, safety, cost, and manufacturability.
- Oversee functional safety activities, including the creation of safety concepts and analyses (FTA, FMEDA, CCA) per ISO 26262.
- Act as the primary engineering interface for customers regarding systems architecture and technical specifications.
- Collaborate with HW, SW, Mechanical, and Manufacturing teams to ensure architectural decisions are implemented across the product life cycle.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs or Masterβs degree in Engineering.
- 8β12+ years of systems engineering experience.
- 3β6+ years of engineering leadership experience.
- Strong cross-domain understanding of HW, SW, mechanical design, and system architecture.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) for collaboration with global teams.
- Proficiency in ISO 26262, DFMEA, and requirements management.
Nice to have
- Experience in automotive sensing (Position, Speed, Steering).
- Proficiency with tools such as Polarion, APIS IQ RM, or standard SE toolchains.
- Experience in prototype validation (DVP/PVP).
