Salary: $78,000 - $107,250 + 15% bonus

What you will do
- Resolve moderate to high complexity and high-exposure claims, managing the process from coverage enquiry to final resolution.
- Analyze policy coverage, prepare position letters, and coordinate investigations into loss facts and damages.
- Manage outside counsel and experts, directing litigation strategy and monitoring expenses.
- Set reserves and negotiate settlements for claims typically involved in litigation.
- Provide technical referral, guidance, and training for new hires and other claims department members.
- Collaborate with underwriters to draft policy wording and present loss analysis at roundtables.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of claims handling experience, including at least 3 years as a Claims Examiner.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience; JD or advanced degree preferred.
- Must have or be eligible to receive a claims adjuster license.
- Valid US Work Authorization is required (no sponsorship provided).
- Strong knowledge of tort and contract law, plus expertise in litigation management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).

- Industry designations such as INS, IEA, AIC, ARM, SCLA, or CPCU.
- Participation in advanced training (e.g., CLM Claim College, Munich Re).
