What you will do

  • Develop and maintain relationships with potential and existing customers in academia, industrial, and contract research accounts.
  • Execute sales programs designed to achieve budgeted sales volume and revenue objectives.
  • Prospect for new business opportunities while growing and developing existing accounts.
  • Manage customer data and pipelines using CRM (SFDC) to ensure accuracy and currency.
  • Collaborate with Field Application Scientific and Inside Sales teams to drive sales of instruments and consumables.
  • Act as a liaison between customers and technical staff to ensure a thorough understanding of the product portfolio.

Requirements

  • B.S. in Life Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience managing multiple geographic regions.
  • Strong technical background with knowledge of Molecular Biology and Proteomics.
  • Proven track record of expanding business within a specific geographic region.
  • Ability to travel extensively (up to 100% within the territory), including overnight stays.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and teleconferencing software.

Nice to have

  • Experience in industrial or academic sales.
  • Proficiency in SFDC.
