What you will do

  • Develop and maintain relationships with potential and existing customers in academia and industry.
  • Design and implement sales programs to achieve and exceed budgeted sales volume.
  • Conduct regular customer meetings and resolve escalated issues to ensure consistent satisfaction.
  • Prospect new business opportunities while growing and developing existing accounts.
  • Manage account data and pipeline accuracy using Salesforce CRM.
  • Collaborate with Field Application Scientific and Inside Sales teams to grow instrument and consumable sales.

Requirements

  • B.S. in Life Science, Engineering, or related field (additional experience may substitute for a degree).
  • Minimum five years of sales experience managing multiple geographic regions.
  • Proven track record in industrial and/or academic sales.
  • Strong technical background in Molecular Biology and Proteomics.
  • Ability to travel extensively (up to 100% within the territory), including overnight stays.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM and MS Office Suite.
