TL;DR

AP & Employee Expense Specialist (Finance): Own accounts payable and employee expense programs using Zip and Navan with an accent on transaction triage, payment runs, and trend analysis. Location: San Francisco, US (Remote, #LI-Hybrid)

What you will do

  • Triage AP inbox in Zip daily and assess flagged invoices with rationale
  • Own weekly payment runs, wallet funding, and vendor pattern analysis with fixes
  • Monitor Navan flagged transactions, maintain templates, and upload to NetSuite
  • Prepare monthly T&E trend analysis with root causes and recommendations
  • Manage physical card program compliance and draft corrective actions
  • Handle month-end AP aging, reconciliations, accruals, and reclassifications
  • Lead AP meetings and own communication channels with timely responses

Requirements

  • 3+ years in AP, expense management, or related finance operations
  • Working knowledge of domestic/international payments, currencies, and errors
  • Experience with procure-to-pay and T&E platforms (Zip, Navan; NetSuite plus)
  • Strong analytical skills and proactive communication with recommendations
  • Ability to manage weekly cadences independently

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with GL coding, accruals, or month-end close
  • Experience in high-growth or SOX-adjacent environments
